The Thar ROXX, XUV 3XO, and XUV400 have now joined Mahindra’s growing family of 5-star rated vehicles, demonstrating the company’s commitment to building safe and high-performance SUVs with cutting-edge technology.
The Thar ROXX has made history by becoming the first body-on-frame SUV to secure a 5-star rating in Bharat-NCAP testing, earning an impressive 31.09/32 in adult occupant protection (AOP) and 45/49 in child occupant protection (COP). The XUV 3XO, Mahindra’s latest C-SUV, scored 29.36/32 for AOP and 43/49 for COP, while the XUV400, Mahindra’s electric SUV, achieved 30.377/32 for AOP and 43/49 for COP, solidifying its position as one of the safest electric vehicles on Indian roads.

Key Safety Features:
- Thar ROXX: Equipped with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Seatbelt Reminder (SBR), Level 2 ADAS, and a 360-degree surround view system with Blind View Monitor, ensuring robust protection. It also features Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Brake Locking Differential (BLD) for enhanced control.
- XUV 3XO: Built with high-strength steel, this SUV includes six airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, a 360-degree surround view system, and Level 2 ADAS features, including Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) and Lane Keep Assist.
