Varahi medai.com online news,Hyderabad, December 13th, 2025: Zydus Lifesciences Ltd., a global innovation-led healthcare company, and Pinkathon, India’s largest women’s run, today announced a major partnership to drive breast cancer awareness and women’s health across India.

The collaboration will kick off the 6th edition of the Hyderabad Pinkathon on February 15, 2026, at People’s Plaza, Necklace Road. This event marks the beginning of the Zydus Pinkathon 2025-26 season, which aims to engage women across six major Indian cities (Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Chennai).

The core message of the nationwide campaign is the critical importance of early detection through regular self-breast examinations.

Empowering Women Through the ‘Easiest Exam’

Zydus is leveraging the Pinkathon platform to amplify its “Easiest Exam” campaign, which stresses that a simple, three-minute self-examination each month can be life-saving. The initiative is encapsulated by the slogan: “Do Haath, Teen Minute, Aur Ek Aasaan sa Exam” (Two hands, three minutes, and one easy exam).

Dr. Sharvil Patel, Managing Director, Zydus Lifesciences Ltd, commented on the partnership: “With the Easiest Exam campaign, we seek to empower women with the knowledge that a simple 3-minute self-examination each month can make a life-saving difference. Joining hands with Pinkathon, we aim to reach many more women, raise awareness, and inspire collective action in the fight against breast cancer.”

The announcement was made in Hyderabad by Milind Soman, Founder of Pinkathon, Dr. Mohana Vamsy, Surgical Oncologist and founder of Omega Hospitals, and Ankita Konwar, Founder of Invincible Women, all of whom reiterated the shared mission of driving preventive healthcare awareness.

Focus on Early Detection

Breast cancer remains one of the most common cancers among women in India, with over 200,000 diagnoses annually. Tragically, a large number of fatalities result from detection at later stages. Experts at the event underscored that when detected early, breast cancer is often highly treatable and, in many cases, completely curable.

Milind Soman highlighted the spirit of the event: “Pinkathon is a celebration of women choosing themselves — their health, their fitness, and their wellbeing. Hyderabad has always shown tremendous spirit and support, and this edition gives us another opportunity to amplify conversations around breast cancer. With the partnership of Zydus, we continue our commitment to ensuring that every woman understands the critical importance of early detection and self-care.”

Dr. Mohana Vamsy added that the three-minute monthly self-check “would change the face of the outcomes in a great measure,” stressing the importance of events like Pinkathon in providing education and encouraging early clinic visits.

The partnership demonstrates Zydus’s commitment to enabling women to lead healthy lives through proactive health measures.
