LIET and IIUM unite to enhance International Academic exchange and Research Excellence

IIUM is a leading public university, ranked among the top institutions in the QS Global Rankings, with a student strength of nearly 40,000 and a strong reputation for academic and research excellence.

The MoU aims to foster joint research initiatives, collaborative publications, student and faculty exchange programmes, and greater cross-cultural academic engagement. It will also strengthen industry–academia linkages at the international level. Over the past two years, nearly 40 LIET students have completed international internships at IIUM, reflecting the steady growth of collaboration between the two institutions.
The MOU was formally signed by Mr. Syed Touseef Ahmed, Vice Chairman of LIET, Hyderabad, and Mr. Ahmad Faris bin Ismail, Deputy Director of IIUM, Malaysia, reaffirming the commitment of both institutions to sustained academic cooperation and global engagement.
