Hyderabad Students Crowned Winners at HCL Jigsaw 6.0 Challenge

Varahimedia.com online news, Hyderabad, September 9, 2025: Young innovators from Hyderabad Vanshaj Gunda, Dhatri Sai Reddy, and Abhinaya Kethineedi of Grade 6, Gitanjali Devakul have emerged winners at the HCL Jigsaw 6.0 Challenge, earning the title of “India’s Top Young Problem Solvers.”
The sixth edition of HCL Group’s flagship problem-solving competition witnessed participation from over 3.5 lakh students across 1,400 schools in 28 states and 2 Union Territories. A total prize purse of ₹12 lakh was awarded to the winners and runner-ups.
The competition, structured in three rigorous rounds, tested students’ ability to tackle real-world issues such as plastic alternatives, e-commerce hygiene, and legal case backlogs. The finale required participants to present their solutions before a jury, blending research, creativity, and innovation.

This year’s winners represented schools from Hyderabad, Noida, Coimbatore, Indore, and Ahmedabad, highlighting the competition’s national reach. The Grade 6 winners from Gitanjali Devakul were recognized for their innovative solutions on the theme “Replacing Plastic with Biodegradable Packaging.”

Launched in 2020, HCL Jigsaw is designed as both an assessment and a learning platform. Students gain access to masterclasses and modules on critical thinking, research, and communication. Winners also get opportunities to visit HCL’s Innovation Labs for early exposure to cutting-edge technologies.
