Speaking at the inauguration of the 13th Asian Textile Conference (ATEXCON 2026) at HICC-Novotel on Friday, the Chief Minister emphasized the state’s readiness to lead the global fabric and garment industry.

The international summit, themed “Reimagining the Future of Global Textiles,” brought together a high-profile assembly of global industrialists, policy experts, and textile researchers to discuss the sector’s evolution.

A Vision Rooted in Heritage
Addressing the delegates, CM Revanth Reddy highlighted that the textile sector is woven into the very fabric of Telangana’s cultural and economic identity. He noted that Hyderabad has been a nexus for textile trade since the Nizam era and continues to be home to world-renowned heritage crafts such as Pochampally Ikat, Gadwal sarees, and Warangal durries.

To achieve the 2047 goal, the Chief Minister assured global investors of a “plug-and-play” ecosystem. “Telangana is a reliable partner for growth. We are committed to providing land, uninterrupted power, water, and world-class infrastructure through fast-track approvals,” he stated.
