Varahi media.com online news,Mumbai, April 12th, 2025: The DBS Foundation (DBSF) has announced grants totaling SGD 4.5 million for 22 Businesses for Impact (BFIs) across its key markets, with four Indian enterprises among the recipients. Selected from over 1,500 applicants, these organizations will receive funding to scale their impactful solutions, with the Indian awardees collectively securing SGD 700,000. The grants, coupled with expert mentorship and networking opportunities from DBS Bank, aim to benefit over 800,000 people in the next two years.

The selected BFIs focus on critical areas such as basic education, nutrition, healthcare, and fostering inclusion through upskilling and employability initiatives. Notably, a quarter of this year’s grantees address the challenges of ageing societies, a growing concern in India and Asia. This aligns with DBSF’s broader mission, including its Impact Beyond Award launched in 2024, which supports innovative businesses enabling dignified and purposeful ageing.

Beyond financial support, the DBSF grant programme offers grantees tailored guidance, capacity-building, and access to DBS Bank’s extensive network. Since 2015, the Foundation has disbursed over SGD 21.5 million to more than 160 BFIs, with alumni securing 10 times their initial funding for further growth.
