Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, this high-octane political action thriller marks the second installment of the Lucifer trilogy. Written by Murali Gopy, the film is being mounted on a massive scale by Lyca Productions, Aashirvad Cinemas, and Sree Gokulam Movies, with Subaskaran, Antony Perumbavoor, and Gokulam Gopalan producing the ambitious project.

Mohanlal reprises his role as the enigmatic Khureshi-Ab’raam alias Stephen Nedumpally, alongside a stellar ensemble featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Indrajith Sukumaran, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Saniya Iyappan, Saikumar, Baiju Santhosh, Fazil, Sachin Khedekar, Nyla Usha, Giju John, Nandhu, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Manikuttan, Aneesh G. Production for L2E: Empuraan commenced on October 5, 2023, in Faridabad and later spanned multiple locations, including Shimla, Leh, the United Kingdom, the United States, Chennai, Gujarat, Hyderabad, the UAE, Mumbai, and Kerala. Shot in an anamorphic format (1:2.8 aspect ratio), the film promises a visually stunning cinematic experience.
Promotional Blitz & Massive Hype
The film’s marketing campaign kicked off with a grand teaser launch on January 26, 2024, coinciding with Republic Day.
