Varahimedia.com online news,Hyderabad,November 19th,2024: L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad (L&TMRHL) is proud to announce that it is the first in India to achieve the prestigious IGBC Green Existing MRTS Platinum Certification for all 57 metro stations across its entire network – in three of its corridors – Red Line, Blue Line, and Green Line.
This significant milestone underscores L&TMRHL’s unwavering commitment to sustainable urban transportation and reaffirms its leadership position in green building practices.
L&TMRHL received this esteemed certification at the Green Building Congress 2024 in Bengaluru, hosted by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), recently. The award was presented to Mr. KVB Reddy, MD & CEO, and Mr. Sudhir Chiplunkar, Chief Operating Officer, L&TMRHL by a distinguished panel including Mr. B. Thiagarajan, Chairman, IGBC, Mr. Christopher de la Cruz, CEO, Philippine Green Building Council, and Mr. C. Shekhar Reddy, National Vice-Chairman, CII-IGBC.
