VarahiMedia.com online news,Hyderabad, October 14th,2024: Gallery Dotwalk, based in Delhi, presents an intriguing art exhibition titled Siren’s Lullaby in the Forgotten Realm, curated by esteemed curator Premjish Achari. The exhibition is taking place at Chitramayee, State Gallery of Art, located in Kavuri Hills, Jubilee Hills, near Madhapur, Hyderabad. It will be open for viewing until October 16 (Wednesday), from 11 AM to 7 PM.
This exhibition showcases a diverse collection of works from renowned Indian artists, including Ravinder Reddy, GR Iranna, Jagannath Panda, T Vaikuntham, Aji VN, Mahesh Baliga, Sujith SN, T Venkanna, and Shobha Broota, alongside promising emerging talents. It offers a unique exploration of dreams, memories, and the hidden realms of the mind, making it an attractive event for art enthusiasts.
In addition to established artists, the exhibition features emerging talents who provide fresh perspectives on themes related to dreams and the subconscious. Their contributions highlight the vibrant and innovative spirit of contemporary Indian art.
Ravinder Reddy, known for his monumental sculptures of women, will participate in the exhibition, delving into the symbolic nature of images and objects. GR Iranna’s intricate paintings examine themes of identity, memory, and the passage of time, while Jagannath Panda’s thought-provoking installations challenge viewers’ perceptions of reality and encourage them to reflect on the nature of existence.
Speaking about the exhibition, curator Premjish Achari remarked, “Siren’s Lullaby in the Forgotten Realm is a testament to the power of art to evoke emotions, ignite imagination, and inspire contemplation. Through various mediums—such as painting, sculpture, installation, and mixed media—the exhibition invites viewers to journey through the forgotten realms of their minds.”
Premjish Achari is a curator, writer, and filmmaker who has conceptualized and initiated the Kaee Kolkata City Lab. He also directed the film The Other Faces about artist Ravinder Reddy in 2022.
