Maheshwari Memorial Lecture at the COD Campus. This event gathered prominent leaders, academics, and professionals to honor the legacy of Dr. B.L. Maheshwari, the visionary founder of COD.
Welcome Address by Dr. Srinivas Kandula
Dr. Srinivas Kandula, Director of COD, opened the event with a heartfelt tribute to Dr. B.L. Maheshwari, highlighting his enduring contributions to management and organizational development. He emphasized COD’s commitment to nurturing leadership and innovation, continuing the founder’s vision.
Keynote Address by HMA President
Mr. Alwala Devender Reddy, President of HMA, spoke on the theme “From Command to Coaching: The New Era of Corporate Leadership”. He underscored the shift in leadership from traditional command-and-control models to collaborative, empathetic, and inclusive approaches. With Millennials and Gen Z entering the workforce, leaders must adopt a coaching mindset to empower young professionals to thrive and contribute meaningfully.

Introduced by Dr. Sunita Maheshwari, Chairperson of COD, the B.L. Maheshwari Memorial Lecture was delivered by Ms. Sita Pallacholla, CEO of WE Hub. Speaking on “Capital Beyond Cash: Networks and Narratives”, Ms. Pallacholla emphasized the importance of intangible assets like networks, trust, and shared stories in driving innovation, resilience, and sustainable growth. She shared inspiring examples of women entrepreneurs from Telangana, showcasing their impact on the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
