Varahi media.com online news,Telangana, April 13th, 2025: Godrej Capital, the financial services arm of the Godrej Industries Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Telangana to drive MSME growth across the state. Through its finance and housing finance subsidiaries, this strategic partnership aims to enhance credit access and foster new business opportunities, especially for underserved entrepreneurs.
Under this collaboration, both entities will work together to deepen credit penetration among MSMEs, with a particular focus on first-time borrowers. The initiative emphasizes digital-first lending solutions customized for the needs of small businesses, aligning with Telangana’s broader vision for inclusive and innovation-led economic development.

A significant highlight of the partnership is the integration of ‘Aarohi’, Godrej Capital’s women-centric initiative, which will ensure targeted support for women entrepreneurs in the state.
Telangana, recognized as one of India’s fastest-growing states, has taken strong policy measures to empower MSMEs through its MSME Policy 2024, which focuses on improving access to credit, promoting digital adoption, and strengthening infrastructure support for businesses.
