varahi media.com India,September 10, 2025: CEAT Limited, a leading Indian tyre manufacturer, has achieved a prestigious Five-Star rating in the British Safety Council’s Occupational Health and Safety Audit for its Halol plant, showcasing its dedication to continuously enhancing its health and safety management systems.

The Halol facility underwent a thorough evaluation, encompassing a detailed review of occupational health and safety policies, processes, and practices. The audit involved examining documentation, conducting interviews with senior management, employees, and key stakeholders, and sampling operational activities. Performance was assessed against best practice indicators and over 50 critical elements of health and safety management.

This marks the second time the Halol plant has earned this distinguished Five-Star rating, the first being in 2016. With this achievement, CEAT’s Halol, Nagpur, Chennai, and Ambernath facilities are now recognized by the British Safety Council, solidifying the company’s commitment to workplace safety excellence.
