Varahi media.com online news,Bengaluru, April 18, 2025: Tata Elxsi (BSE: 500408), a global leader in design and technology services, has signed a strategic multi-year engineering deal worth €50 million with a major European automotive original equipment manufacturer (OEM). The collaboration will position Tata Elxsi as a core engineering partner across multiple domains, including software-defined vehicle (SDV) platforms, electrification, body and chassis systems, and cloud-native application development.
As part of the agreement, Tata Elxsi will establish a dedicated Global Engineering Centre to support the OEM’s software platform roadmap. This centre will drive development of a unified technology stack comprising a proprietary operating system, vehicle electronic architecture, and automotive cloud infrastructure. The aim is to enable scalable, software-driven innovations such as enhanced in-vehicle functionality, continuous software upgrades, and brand-aligned digital experiences.
