Star Health Insurance Expands Home Health Care Network to 100 Locations Across India

Launched in July 2023, the program now covers over 85% of Star Health’s customer base, offering cashless, doorstep medical care within three hours, eliminating out-of-pocket expenses, and significantly improving healthcare accessibility and affordability across Bharat.

The HHC program primarily caters to patients recovering from infectious diseases. It offers home-based consultations where a partner doctor visits the patient’s home, assesses their condition, diagnoses the illness, and provides treatment if hospitalization is unnecessary. The program ensures regular in-person follow-ups, with only 1% of cases requiring hospital escalation.
