Varahi media.com online news,Hyderabad, December 3rd, 2024: NMDC, India’s largest iron ore producer, has achieved a historic milestone with its best-ever November performance. The company’s production reached 4.51 million tonnes (MT), marking an 18% increase from 3.83 MT in November 2023.

Sales for the month reached 4 MT, surpassing the previous record of 3.79 MT, reflecting a 5.5% year-on-year growth.

Shri Amitava Mukherjee, Director (Finance) of NMDC, expressed pride in the achievement, stating, “The record production and sales numbers for November are a testament to NMDC’s dedication and tireless efforts.

This accomplishment reflects the team’s commitment to excellence, and we remain focused on driving sustainable growth and creating value for all stakeholders.”

The record performance is attributed to NMDC’s strategic planning, optimal pricing strategies, and consistent customer off-take. These factors, along with the company’s commitment to operational efficiency, have played a crucial role in the positive outcomes.

With these results, NMDC is on course to meet its ambitious production target of 50 million tonnes for the fiscal year.
