Varahi media.com online news,London,February 17th,2025: N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, expressed deep humility and gratitude after being awarded The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (Civil Division) by His Majesty, King Charles.
In a statement, Chandrasekaran remarked, “I am deeply humbled by this prestigious recognition, and I am immensely grateful to His Majesty, King Charles.”

He also highlighted the strong strategic relationship that the Tata Group has maintained with the UK, spanning across key sectors such as technology, consumer goods, hospitality, steel, chemicals, and automotive.

“We take immense pride in our iconic British brands like Jaguar Land Rover and Tetley, and we are proud to employ over 70,000 people in the UK,” he added.
Chandrasekaran further emphasized the Group’s strong academic ties, mentioning partnerships with world-renowned institutions like the University of Oxford, the London School of Economics, the University of Warwick, and the University of Swansea.
