Varahi media.com online news,August 16th,2025: Born into the cinematic world, Aadhi Pinisetty could have chosen the easier path. His father, Ravi Raja Pinisetty, is a celebrated director in Telugu cinema with over 40 hits, having worked with legends like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Mohan Babu, and Venkatesh.

But Aadhi’s journey has never been about inheriting fame—it has been about earning it.

He made his acting debut with Oka V Chitram (2006) in Telugu, but recognition came in Tamil with Eeram (2009). Over the years, his powerful performances in Sarrainodu, Ninnu Kori, Rangasthalam, Mirugam, and Maragadha Naanayam cemented his reputation as a versatile actor capable of effortlessly portraying heroes, villains, or supporting roles. Personally, I first noticed Aadhi in Ninnu Kori, and I was blown away by his diction and the dignity with which he inhabited his character.

When Mayasabha transitioned to an OTT format, Aadhi was the first choice for one of the leads, without any hesitation. I shared the script and narrated the story over an eight-hour Zoom call, leaving him open to either of the lead roles. Once we finalized Chaitanya Rao for one lead, Aadhi took on KKN, a character layered with complexities like a stammer, financial constraints, and an intelligence-first approach to problems—a journey of ascending leadership.

Working with Aadhi has been an absolute joy. He approached KKN like a marathon, immersing himself in the era’s political rhythms, refining body language, and discovering the silences between dialogues. His meticulous attention to nuances—participating in script readings with the curiosity of a schoolchild, his real-life camaraderie with Chaitanya Rao, and his careful handling of the stammer to make it relatable and endearing—added immense depth to the character. That innocent smile and the sincerity in his eyes became a tremendous asset to the show.

A few standout moments from the series:

  1. The fleeting glance at his bloody hand before shaking MSR’s hand on the bus in episode three—a subtle shot that became a highlight in the trailer.
  2. The playful comeback to CBR while receiving nomination papers—Aadhi’s timing and extension of the line elevated the heroic moment.

The show’s critical acclaim and nationwide reach have reshaped Aadhi’s trajectory. He is now the face of Telugu cinema’s most ambitious political drama. For him, it is a testament that the long years of dedication, patience, and selective choices—avoiding half-baked scripts—were worth every step.
