Varahi media.com online news,Hyderabad, December 10, 2025:JLL, a global leader in commercial real estate and investment management, today announced a major expansion in India by signing a lease for a new 120,000 sq. ft office facility in Hyderabad. This move is set to establish Hyderabad as JLL Business Services (JBS)’s second major capability center in India, complementing its existing operations in Gurugram, and reinforcing the country’s strategic role as a global innovation partner.

The new facility, located across two floors in the Prestige Sky Tech building within Hyderabad’s Financial District, will house JBS—JLL’s global operations delivery platform. JLL plans to create over 1,600 highly skilled positions focused on advanced business operations by the end of Q1 2026. This expansion signifies a shift from traditional support functions to strategic business operations that drive JLL’s worldwide real estate consulting excellence.

Hyderabad to Host Strategic Business Operations

Once operational, the Hyderabad center will join JLL’s network of Shared Service Centers across six countries, which currently employs over 6,000 professionals globally, with more than 50% based in India. As JLL’s Global Capability Center (GCC), JBS delivers sophisticated services including advanced analytics, technology-enabled solutions, finance, HR, project management, and complex business processes supporting JLL’s client operations worldwide.

“This commitment reflects our confidence in India’s exceptional talent pool and Hyderabad’s emergence as a global business center,” said Matthew Rees, Chief Shared Service Center Officer, JLL Business Services. “We are not simply adding office space – we’re planning to create opportunities for professionals to contribute to world-class operations that directly influence commercial real estate decisions across global markets.”

Mr. Rees emphasized that the future Hyderabad team will tackle sophisticated challenges in data analytics, financial modeling, and operational excellence that shape the industry’s future.

India: A Global Innovation Hub

The expansion highlights India’s transformation into a critical talent destination for global enterprises. Dheeraj Popli, Head, Global Service Center, India, JLL Business Services, noted that India’s unique combination of technical expertise and cultural alignment is indispensable.

“India’s emergence as a global innovation hub is powered by the world’s largest pool of STEM talent, with over 2.5 million graduates entering the workforce annually,” said Mr. Popli. He added that Indian professionals now spearhead cutting-edge R&D and complex business operations, making India the preferred destination for high-value functions across the real estate industry.

Advanced Workplace Design to Boost Innovation

The new facility’s design is based on JLL’s research into employee preferences and productivity, integrating cutting-edge features to support innovation and hybrid work. Key elements include:

  • Collaborative spaces optimized for hybrid teams.
  • Advanced technology infrastructure for real-time global operations.
  • LEED-certified sustainable design elements.
  • Comprehensive wellness amenities, including fitness facilities and quiet zones.

These design choices align with JLL’s Workforce Preference Barometer 2025, which found that 83% of Indian employees hold positive attitudes toward return-to-office requirements, higher than the Asia-Pacific average, driven by strong cultural values around collaboration.

JLL’s investment capitalizes on Hyderabad’s strategic advantages, including world-class infrastructure, abundant skilled workforce, and business-friendly policies. This expansion reinforces JLL’s dedication to India as a vital component of its global service delivery model.
