Gromax Agri Equipment Celebrates 25 Years of Excellence Under Mahindra & Gujarat Government JV

(formerly Mahindra Gujarat Tractor Ltd.), a joint venture between Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and the Government of Gujarat, marks its 25th anniversary, celebrating a legacy of empowering Indian farmers with affordable and advanced mechanized solutions.

Originally Mahindra Gujarat Tractor Ltd., the company underwent a strategic transformation when Mahindra acquired a major stake in 1999. It was rebranded as Gromax Agri Equipment Ltd. in 2017, reaffirming its commitment to offering innovative and cost-effective farming solutions.

Over the past 25 years, Gromax has expanded its tractor portfolio from just four models to over 40 variants in the 20-50 HP segment under the TRAKSTAR (launched in 2017) and HINDUSTAN brands. Additionally, the company offers a diverse range of farm implements under the TRAKMATE brand.

To commemorate its silver jubilee, Gromax has launched new 4WD tractor models—Trakstar 525 and Trakstar 536. Additionally, the company has introduced new 2WD tractor variants in the 24HP, 31HP, and 36HP categories, catering specifically to the orchard farming segment.

As part of its efforts to attract young farmers and enhance brand differentiation, Gromax has also introduced tractors in saffron and black colour themes.
