Facebook has already removed Messenger Lite from the Google Play Store. Now users who have already downloaded and are using this app will not be able to use this app after September 18.

A Meta spokesperson said in an email, “Starting August 21, users using the Messenger Lite app for Android can use Messenger or FB Lite to send and receive messages on Messenger.
