Varahi media.com online news,Hyderabad, December 5th, 2024: Coromandel International Limited (CIL), one of India’s leading agri-input companies, and the International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC), a global non-profit organization based in the United States, have entered into a strategic partnership through a Master Research Agreement aimed at advancing fertilizer innovation and promoting sustainability in agriculture.

This collaboration addresses key agricultural challenges by introducing next-generation fertilizers that enhance nutrient efficiency, boost crop yields, and minimize environmental impact. The agreement combines Coromandel’s market presence and advanced R&D facilities with IFDC’s expertise in fertilizer research and production technologies.

Coromandel International is dedicated to developing new, efficient fertilizers at its three cutting-edge R&D centers in Vishakhapatnam, IIT Bombay, and Coimbatore. The company’s efforts focus on delivering innovative solutions that improve crop productivity while promoting soil health.

IFDC, renowned for its pioneering work in fertilizer research at its Muscle Shoals facility in Alabama, USA, plans to set up similar research facilities in India, further strengthening its collaborative approach to fertilizer innovation.
