Varahi media.com online news,India,February 13th,2025: In a significant move to enhance customer security, Airtel Payments Bank has become the first payments bank in India to integrate its systems with the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C) through the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) API.

This integration with the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (NCRP)-Citizen Financial Cyber Fraud Reporting and Management System (CFCFRMS) enables real-time information sharing, allowing faster response to cybercrime complaints.

Airtel Payments Bank is among the first four banks to adopt this advanced API integration, reinforcing its commitment to fighting financial fraud and safeguarding customer interests.

Strengthening Cybercrime Response with Real-Time Data Sharing

With this integration, Airtel Payments Bank can now automate fraud reporting processes that were previously handled manually. The system provides instant access to crucial details, including complaint numbers, mobile numbers, account details, reported fraud amounts, and transaction references. This real-time exchange of information between Airtel Payments Bank, I4C, and the Ministry of Home Affairs enables swift action to prevent further misuse of compromised accounts.
