Varahi media.com online news,Gandhinagar, December 13th, 2025:Infibeam Avenues Ltd today announced a planned leadership realignment, with the elevation of Mr. Vishwas Patel, currently Joint Managing Director, to the role of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO), effective December 11, 2025, pending statutory approval.
Under this new structure, Mr. Vishal Mehta will continue to head the company’s board as Chairman and Managing Director, focusing on driving the company’s long-term, AI-first strategic vision.
This realignment follows several years of strategic transformation, during which Infibeam Avenues re-architected its model from a diversified approach to a unified strategy centered on digital payments (under the CCAvenue brand) and AI-driven solutions (under the Phronetic.AI brand).
Accelerated Operational Execution
As the new MD & CEO, Mr. Vishwas Patel will assume full responsibility for the day-to-day operations and execution of the company’s strategic plans. He will report directly to the Board and lead efforts to scale the business in the highly competitive and innovation-driven payments environment.

IIMA Professor Joins Board
In addition to the leadership transition, the Company Board also announced the appointment of noted academic and leadership expert Dr. Neharika Vohra as an Additional Women Director (Non-Executive, Independent) for a five-year term, effective December 11, 2025.
Dr. Vohra, a Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), brings decades of scholarship and industry engagement to the board. She is a prolific scholar who has published over 70 papers and has deep involvement with IIMA Ventures, supporting entrepreneurship and innovation. Her appointment is expected to strengthen the board with significant expertise in leadership, governance, and institution building.
