Vararahi media.com online news, February 8th,2025: Megastar Chiranjeevi has expressed heartfelt gratitude to his fans and supporters for their relentless dedication to the blood donation movement. Speaking at a special gathering with blood donors at the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank on Saturday, he acknowledged the immense contribution of donors who have been instrumental in saving countless lives over the years. During the event, he honored mega blood donors and engaged in an inspiring conversation with them.

Addressing the attendees, Chiranjeevi said, “My childhood friend Shankar serves as the CEO of the blood bank, while another close associate, CJS Naidu, is the CFO. Swamy Naidu has been a pillar of strength throughout this journey. Their unwavering support has helped me successfully carry out these service initiatives. My fans, whom I consider my extended family, have consistently donated blood and stood by me in this noble cause. No matter what the future holds, this movement will continue to thrive, powered by the generosity of those who believe in this mission.”

Chiranjeevi reflected on the early challenges of promoting blood donation, stating, “When I started this initiative, people feared donating blood—some even expected money in return. Unlike today, voluntary blood donation was rare, and many lives were lost due to the unavailability of blood at critical moments. Seeing women die due to excessive bleeding during childbirth or children suffering from thalassemia and leukemia deeply pained me.”

Recalling the initial days, he shared, “I wondered if my fans would respond positively if I asked them to donate blood. To encourage participation, I introduced a unique condition—anyone wishing to meet me or take a photo had to donate blood first. The response was overwhelming, with youngsters enthusiastically coming forward. At the time, I questioned whether this enthusiasm would last. But today, I see donors who have contributed dozens, even hundreds of times. It is their unwavering belief in the joy of service that keeps this mission alive. Now, Ram Charan is also determined to take this legacy forward. I strongly believe that good deeds always bring positive returns.”

Chiranjeevi also shared an emotional incident: “During an event to unveil Alluri Seetharama Raju’s statue, a leader spoke harshly about me. While I tend to ignore such remarks, my admirers do not. A woman in the crowd furiously reacted to the leader’s comments. Curious, I inquired about her identity. To my surprise, she wasn’t even my fan. When asked why she defended me, she said, ‘Chiranjeevi saved my child’s life. My child was suffering from dengue and needed blood, which we received because of him. He is like God to me. How can I stay silent when someone speaks ill of him?’”

Reflecting on this, he said, “That moment reaffirmed my belief that good deeds never go unnoticed. As our elders say, ‘Dharma protects those who uphold it.’ If we stay true to our path and do good, it will always come back to us. That is why I encourage everyone to think positively and contribute to society. No amount of criticism will affect me because I know the power of selfless service. Blood donors are the true heroes—I am merely a facilitator. The credit for this noble cause belongs to all of you.”

Chiranjeevi also acknowledged the unwavering support of Shankar, Naidu, and Swami Naidu, who have dedicated their lives to this cause without expecting anything in return. He expressed his deep gratitude to them.

Concluding his address, Chiranjeevi warmly invited donors to continue their contributions, saying, “I cherish every opportunity to meet our blood donors. The Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust is your home-you are always welcome to come and donate blood anytime. Love you all!”
