Driven by its commitment to education, the Hinduja Foundation currently supports over 700,000 students across India through initiatives like Road to School and Road to Livelihood. With an ambitious goal to empower one million students by 2030, the Foundation remains a key force in fostering educational transformation, aligning with India’s vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.

The milestone event witnessed the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, as the Chief Guest, alongside the Governor of Maharashtra, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, as the Guest of Honour. Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar felicitated outstanding students for their academic and extracurricular achievements.

Addressing the gathering, the Vice President emphasized the significance of Sanatan values in education, stating that they promote inclusivity and help individuals stay rooted in cultural heritage. He also urged corporate India to invest in education, advocating for specialized institutions that prioritize learning over commercialization. “Education is the most impactful transformative mechanism that fosters equality,” he remarked. Expressing his confidence in Hinduja College’s future, he stated that it will not only attain deemed university status but also evolve into a globally renowned institution.

Reflecting on this landmark occasion, Mr. Ashok Hinduja, Chairman of the Hinduja Foundation, outlined the institution’s ambitious roadmap. He announced the establishment of a Skill Development Centre to bridge the industry-academia gap and highlighted plans to introduce cutting-edge programs in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Wealth Management, along with specialized courses in Climate Finance and Export-Import Management. He also advocated for incorporating Sanatan principles in education, a proposal supported by the Vice President.

Mr. Paul Abraham, President of the Hinduja Foundation, shared insights into the college’s ongoing redevelopment, which includes a state-of-the-art, multi-storied campus with modern infrastructure and digital capabilities. The project, expected to be completed by 2028, aims to triple the college’s physical capacity and expand its digital outreach.
