The bank is actively promoting this platform at Kumbh Mela through live demonstrations and distribution of QR code-enabled keychains that direct users to the website. This initiative spans 25 days across Axis Bank branches and kiosks, educating pilgrims on digital safety.

Additionally, the bank has introduced DevanagariPIN.com, a unique tool that allows users to create personalized and secure PINs by converting meaningful words into numerical codes using the Devanagari script.

2. On-Ground Assistance for Pilgrims

Axis Bank has set up dedicated help desks across 11 branches in Prayagraj, offering navigation guidance, currency exchange, and general support to pilgrims. These help desks serve as key touchpoints to enhance the overall experience of visitors.

3. Mobile ATM Van & Cloth Bag Vending Machines

To ensure seamless financial accessibility, Axis Bank has deployed a Mobile ATM Van within the Mela area, enabling cash withdrawals, currency exchange, and coin distribution. Operated directly from the bank’s currency chest, this facility guarantees uninterrupted banking services for devotees.

Promoting sustainability, Axis Bank has collaborated with Nagar Nigam Prayagraj to install four cloth bag vending machines at high-traffic locations, encouraging pilgrims to opt for eco-friendly alternatives.

4. Promoting Digital Awareness in Partnership with RBI

In collaboration with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Axis Bank is conducting a five-day awareness drive on Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). Two Axis Bank representatives are stationed at the RBI camp to educate pilgrims on digital currency usage and fraud prevention measures.

5. Protecting Pilgrims from Harsh Weather Conditions

Recognizing the extreme winter conditions at the Mela, Axis Bank is distributing 80,000 woollen caps at key locations such as ghats, akharas, bank branches, and kiosks. A dedicated team is ensuring that these caps reach those in need, offering warmth and comfort to devotees.
