Varahi media.com online news,Hyderabad, March 6th, 2025:Mahila Dakshata Samithi (MDS) Educational Institutions, Gangaram, Chandanagar, Hyderabad, organized an insightful lecture on “Kumbh Mela: A Sacred Convergence of Science and Spirituality.” The event, held at 2:30 PM, brought together distinguished guests and esteemed speakers to explore the deep interconnection between ancient traditions and modern scientific understanding.

The program was graced by Smt. Anju Poddar, an eminent speaker and author, as the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honor included Shri Sheel Kumar Jain, President of Hindi Arts College, and Smt. Vimala Badruka, Trustee of Rogi Sahayata Trust.

Dr. Saroj Bajaj, President of MDS, along with Smt. Sharada Gupta and Smt. Munna Jagetia, warmly welcomed the esteemed guests and gave them a tour of the college campus. The event commenced with the lighting of the traditional lamp, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Saroj Bajaj, who emphasized the importance of such cultural and educational programs in enriching students’ knowledge.

Smt. Vimala Badruka encouraged students to utilize the college’s excellent facilities and focus on their academics for a prosperous future.

Shri Sheel Kumar Jain shared his personal experiences of attending the Maha Kumbh, describing it as a deeply spiritual and transformative journey.

The highlight of the event was the lecture by the Chief Guest, Smt. Anju Poddar, who delivered an engaging discourse on the scientific and spiritual dimensions of Kumbh Mela. She elaborated on how this ancient tradition carries profound religious significance while also offering scientific insights, particularly on its effects on human health and well-being. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Anitha, Hindi Lecturer, followed by the National Anthem.
